The Myth Of "Internet Protection"

As many are probably aware, there has been an enormous amount of discussion about the battle waged against the recent SOPA act, and others like it.

While these acts certainly should not be passed, the focus on them does the public a huge disservice, and reveals that many people are only viewing a few trees of a much larger forest.

The fact of the matter is that governments all over the world, including the US and many other Western nations, have the power to shut down sites whenever they want to.

If people think times are scary now, just wait a few years. As time goes by, our social, political, and economic paradigms are getting more and more unstable, and people are FINALLY overcoming whatever garbage propaganda, belief preservation, or other barriers and seeing the savage nature of our order for what it truly is (my personal opinion is that this awakening has taken far too long to begin and is even now still progressing PAINFULLY slow).

People all over the world are now beginning see how corruption, mass murder and abuse, exploitation of human beings and the earth, disregard for humane and compassionate values, and utter amorality, among other vices, are the foundations of our established order. This is largely due to the Internet, and everyone knows it.

The thugs in power and their drones and apologists, by far the most defensive of the status quo, are therefore becoming quite desperate. They will do whatever they can to keep the spirit of awakening contained.

Do yourselves a favor folks: if you hear ANYONE calling for some kind of Internet censorship, start putting distance between yourself and them immediately. There can NEVER be any good justification for censoring the free flow of information.
