What has the world come to?
People prefer ROBOTS over OTHER
HUMAN BEINGS???!!!
I really don't like this trend.
Not so much because of the behavior itself, but what it means...
Somehow, I have a very strong
certainty that those in a relationship with robots are not messed up or crazy.
They are miserable, lonely, and
desperate for affection and care from another thing.
Even thought it is probably
nowhere near the pain those poor folks are experiencing, I know first hand from
experience the misery from loneliness and lack of human connection.
People living in the same area
under similar lifestyles (towns, colleges, etc.) cannot even make time for a
quick grab of food and/or drinks at a local cafe. According to recent research,
graduate school students have to plan WEEKS in ahead just to meet up their
friends for the simplest of gatherings. And these sad facts are just the tip of
the iceberg...
The fact that practically few if,
any, people are alarmed and protesting against the system we live in for the
sheer and beyond-obvious basis that humans are not meant to live in these
excruciatingly terrible circumstances is really all the evidence one needs to
acknowledge the power of modern indoctrination.
We have no minds and no souls. We
just switch between work and superficial sense of pleasure.
No wonder we're having
relationships with robots... we've literally become them.
